These pictures are from the road that goes up Wachusett ski mountain.  You can pay $2 to ride up the road, though today was free.  It's a nice road, some good overlooks.  Have to watch your speed though, alot of frost heaves on the straights.  Also alot of people on pedal bikes on the side of the road.  Just maintain a relaxed pace and you'll be fine.  Friend and I decided to take a short ride after work and this was pretty local to us.  I'd like to get up there again on a clear sunny day.  It had rained earlier in the day so there were still a few clouds and haze, not to mention the sun was about to go down.

Decided to go for a quick ride after work.  Weather report said possible thunderstorms and rain, I guess they were right this time.  Sky opened up a few times but we kept on riding, hoping that it'd be dry where we were going.  As you can see from the pics, it wasn't.  Nothing too bad really, Bike did fine in the rain (like it always has).  Pretty happy with the BT010 and BT020 in the wet.  Ran into a guy named Mike on his BMW Dakar on top of the mountain.  Nice bike, had some damage on the right side from trying to avoid a deer.  Was warm out, but wet and foggy as you can tell.  The little red guy in the lower right picture decided to walk out onto the pavement between the bikes.  At most he was 1.5" long.  Placed him back into the woods, hopefully he didn't find his way back onto the road surface.

Failed attempt at showing a friend the road up the mountain.  Guess they close it up once it snows.  My 929 was already away for the season so I barrowed his Interceptor 500 for the ride.  First snow of the year was the night before.  The following weekend we got about 5 inches, which has thankfully melted at this point.
